[ltr]The Saudi Ambassador to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, has obtained approval from the Iraqi Federal Government to open a consulate for Riyadh in Basra.[/ltr]
[ltr]This consulate, the second of Saudi Arabia in Iraq, will be after the Saudi consulate in Arbil, Kurdistan region.[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Shammari said that "the approval came from the Iraqi government and the building will be searched and activated very soon." He added that "what concerns them is the development of relations between the two countries in all fields that serve the aspirations of the governments and peoples of the two countries." Crave[/ltr]
