Minister of the National Union: A partisan decision behind our non-participation in the meeting of the regional government
Shafaq News/ The Minister of Agriculture of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Bekird Talabani, announced today, Tuesday, that the ministers of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan are committed to the party's decisions regarding their participation in the meetings of the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The Minister of Agriculture of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Bekard Talabani, said during a press conference attended by Shafaq News Agency in Sulaymaniyah; "The non-participation of the ministers of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the regional government came by a decision of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan," confirming the commitment of all ministers to the party's decisions.
On the reasons for not participating in the cabinet meeting, Talabani indicated; "The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is a real partner in managing the region, but there are differences in our aspirations in managing the region," noting that the two main parties have good intentions in solving problems.
On the ministers' participation in the next meeting, Talabani explained; "The ministers are waiting for the party's decision regarding whether to participate in the meeting or not."
In a separate context, the Minister of Agriculture indicated that the government is serious in supporting poultry project owners in order to reduce their damage and not burden the citizen by raising the customs tariff on importing fodder, as well as serious steps to provide fuel for them through coordination with the Ministry of Natural Resources as well as the private sector.
Regarding the ministry's decision to appoint 5,000 graduates, the minister confirmed that the ministry received 11,000 swordsmen, and they now need 5,000 candidates. Therefore, a mechanism will be put in place to select candidates in a fair and transparent manner, and it will be announced next week.
