The Deputy of the State of Law Coalition, Muhammad al-Ziyadi, confirmed, on Wednesday, that the Kurdistan Democratic Party continues its negotiations with the Parliamentary Finance Committee regarding articles related to the Kurdistan region within the federal general budget.

Al-Ziyadi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that "there is no agreement between the Finance Committee and the Kurdistan Democratic Bloc regarding Articles 12, 13 and 14 of the Budget Law," noting that "the Democratic delegation negotiating with the Finance Committee has full authority, and we hope that they will reach a solution. In the coming hours.”
He added, “The beginning of next week will witness the presentation of the draft federal budget law for a vote, whether a solution is reached between the Finance Committee and the region’s delegation or not.”
And the dilemma of the budget remains hostage, as usual, between Baghdad and Erbil until the last moments before voting on it inside the parliament dome, amid Kurdish demands to increase their financial share, and the conditions of the center that the region is subject to the decisions of the judiciary.
