{Local: Al-Furat News} The Parliamentary Water Committee clarified today, Saturday, that the projects that were launched with the change of governments were stopped for unrealistic reasons.
Thaer Al-Jubouri, a member of the Parliamentary Water Committee, told {Al-Furat News}: “We lack strategic plans in managing water projects, as there are projects that were launched in a certain period of time but were stopped with the change of governments, even if those projects involved rents or sustainable development, but they were stopped.” For unrealistic reasons and so as not to attribute it to one party or another.”
He added, "Successive governments do not complete the projects they started, even if these projects were positive or service-based."
He pointed out, "There is a new vision in managing water projects through rationalization of water consumption."
