The Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission stated in a statement that the arrest operation was carried out pursuant to a judicial warrant, with the formation of a working team. To investigate and investigate the information received by the office, which includes the director of the legal department at the General Company for Glass and Refractories Manufacturing blackmailing workers in the company, and requesting sums of money estimated at (6500) six thousand five hundred US dollars for each person; In exchange for transforming him from a daily wage into a contract within Resolution (315), and that this process takes place through intermediaries.
It indicated that the team began investigation and investigation operations, and after confirming the accuracy of the information and obtaining the judicial decision, it initiated an elaborate ambush, and was able to arrest the “intermediary accused” in the red flag and in possession of the bribe amount amounting to 5 million dinars, and after searching his car, the amount (6,500) was found. ) Six thousand five hundred dollars in a sealed envelope, in addition to another amount of (6000) six thousand dollars, noting that the operation also resulted in the seizure of a list consisting of (84) names marked with the phrase “Wasil” in front of some of them.
It noted the organization of a proper arrest report on the operation, which was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Resolution (160 of 1983), and presenting it, along with the accused and the exhibits, to the competent investigating judge who decided to arrest him, and issuing an investigation and arrest warrant against the director of the Legal Department, who is one of the notables and previously served as a member of the Provincial Council. The order was executed and his house was searched, but he was not found inside the house.
