[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced achieving good financial performance during the past year 2023 compared to the previous two years 2022 and 2021, as a result of the steps taken in implementing reform and development plans and strategies to advance the industrial process in the country according to what was stated in the government program.
The ministry explained in a statement: "Revenues increased by (7.84%) in 2023 compared to 2022, stressing that this increase came as a result of implementing the directives of Minister Khaled Batal Al-Najm to develop the production and marketing activity of companies and complete plans to rebuild and operate a number of destroyed and stopped factories and open a number of new projects and production lines in addition to raising the level of work and services provided by the ministry's departments and companies.
The statement indicated that the ministry was also able to rationalize spending and reduce expenses in the past year 2023 by (5.80%) compared to 2022, stressing that it is proceeding and within its drawn vision to continue striving and supporting to improve the performance of (6) of its companies and transform them into profitable companies during the next two years, represented by Al-Faris General Companies, Al-Furat Chemical Industries, Iraqi Mining and Cement Industries Companies, Diyala General Companies, and designing and implementing projects with diligent follow-up of the work of Other companies to improve their performance and production activity./End3[/rtl]
