Baghdad / NINA / Today's newspapers, Tuesday, focused on the fatwa of the Supreme Authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, on the prohibition of drugs and the inauguration of three vital projects in Baghdad by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
Regarding the prohibition of drugs, Al-Zawraa newspaper, issued by the Journalists Syndicate, said that the Supreme Religious Authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, issued a fatwa on the prohibition of drugs of all kinds and the money obtained through them.
In response to a set of questions regarding drug trade and addiction, the Supreme Authority stated: Drugs are prohibited in all their kinds and the money obtained through them is illicit and it is forbidden to dispose of them, stressing that it is permissible to use some narcotic drugs if a specialist doctor recommends them. According to the Authority's response, the office of Sayyid al-Sistani added that dealing with anyone who smuggles or trades drugs should be boycotted. He indicated that there is no difference in the prohibition of drug trade and transportation.
He pointed out that those officials who neglect their duties in combating drugs are committing a double sin and must resign. Noting that the higher authorities in charge have a major responsibility to cleanse the security and judicial apparatuses of the corrupt and corrupting.
He stressed the importance of cultural and religious centers and institutions, and everyone in their educational position, to remove the danger of drugs from society. Pointing out that the repentance of anyone who used to take drugs and repented and continued treatment to the final stages and did not return to drugs is accepted.
He continued: The right of a drug-addicted mother to custody of children is dropped if there is harm to their safety.
Al-Sabah newspaper was interested in the Prime Minister's inauguration of three vital projects in Baghdad and said that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed the rapid completion of the entrances to the capital, Baghdad, and the accountability of vehicle owners who violate weights.
The Prime Minister said in a speech after the inauguration of three projects in Baghdad via a television circuit, namely the entrance to Baghdad-Diyala-Kirkuk, the Nahrawan water project, and the bridges built on the Army Channel: "The completion of these projects represents the determination and spirit of one team," calling for "the completion of the remaining projects, including easing bottlenecks in Baghdad. Since the first day the government began its work, we have emphasized the importance of the entrances to the capital."
Al-Sudani directed "to expedite the completion of the remaining entrances to the capital, and to hold accountable those who violate the weights of the owners of the freight vehicles, to preserve the roads," noting that "the Nahrawan water project is important and vital and has been lagging for 12 years and has been referred twice, and today it has been completed."
On the other hand, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired a special meeting to follow up on the file of automating the ration card, during which the project's stages, its most important requirements, and the provision of its needs were discussed.
Al-Sudani stressed - during the meeting - "the importance of proceeding with the automation process; because it lies at the heart of the government's direction in financial and administrative reform, as well as in its efforts to combat corruption," stressing "the importance of diligently following up on the components of the automation process and the accuracy of data, in order to provide a service that is characterized by modernity and overcomes all obstacles and routine complexities.
Al-Zaman newspaper was interested in holding a unified prayer in Karbala in support of the people of Gaza and said that a unified prayer was held in which delegations from different Arab countries participated during their attendance at the Al-Aqsa Call Conference, which was organized by the Al-Hussainiya Holy Shrine in Karbala, to pray for the people of Gaza for victory and steadfastness.
The representative of the religious authority, Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, stressed during his reception of the delegations yesterday (the necessity for everyone to stand in support of the truth, defend the oppressed, and support the weak, and not to stand in a neutral and let down position for those against whom the most heinous crimes are committed by this occupying entity, each according to his position and capabilities),
and Al-Karbalai described (these criminals as human monsters stripped of all human values and lofty principles),
and expressed his regret that (the criminals enjoy unlimited support from some major countries, and this prevents the application of international laws regarding perpetrators of crimes against humanity),
and stressed that (it is important that we draw inspiration, as we live the occasion of the Arbaeen visit, from the revolution of Al-Hussein as a beacon and a beacon in maintaining the values of sacrifice and fathers and not submitting, succumbing and yielding to injustice and tyranny). / End[/rtl]
