<p style="direction: ltr;">The Ministry of Transportation reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ‘”The General Company for Maritime Transportation is supervising the opening of Tanuma pontoon bridge, which is being opened twice weekly, and the inauguration of the river pier in Ashaar area to receive the Iranian ship, Raniya.”
<p style="direction: ltr;">The pontoon bridge of Tanuma, which links Tanuma area of eastern Basra and the Basra city center, was destroyed many times due to storms but the pontoon bridge was re-built and it is on service now. \End\
