    The Parliamentary Integrity Committee discussed, on Sunday, the mechanisms for following up on the work of ministries and setting a schedule for hosting.

    The committee said in a statement that it "held its regular meeting, headed by MP [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/entity/3591591119/%D8%B2%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%8A/ar/]Ziad Al-Janabi[/url], to discuss the topics on its agenda, most notably following up on the work of ministries, agencies, and entities not affiliated with a ministry, and setting a schedule for hosting and field visits."

    The statement quoted Al-Janabi as stressing "the committee's keenness to review all files that are suspected of corruption in various government departments, and to ensure the transparency of the procedures adopted in referring contracts."
     
    The committee members also stated during the meeting that “there is a special working strategy for the committee that will be initiated in order to reduce financial and administrative corruption and contribute to preserving public money.”
