    Information / Baghdad..
Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Mohammed Anouz, acknowledged today, Monday, that political agreements have led to the disruption of the oversight role of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the absence of interrogations.
Anouz told Al-Maalouma Agency, "Interrogating ministers and officials requires the approval of political forces, noting that some interrogations have political motives behind them."

He added, "The past period witnessed the withdrawal of many interrogations due to political favors."
Anouz pointed out that "the House of Representatives continues its legislative work, as well as hosting and directing parliamentary questions."
He added, "There is a clear delay in the process of questioning officials inside the parliament for reasons related to political consensus." End / 25 H
