Iraqi oil prices recorded a new decline today, Monday (October 21, 2024), on the first day of trading this week.
According to data reviewed by Baghdad Today, Basra Heavy crude oil recorded $69.57 per barrel at the opening of the markets, while the average recorded $72.72 per barrel, with a change rate of -0.20 for both types.
The data also showed an increase in global crude oil prices compared to last week, as British Brent crude recorded $73.47, while US West Texas Intermediate crude recorded $69.47 per barrel, by +0.47 and =0.48.
