    History Iraq Stock Exchange index, a rise in the number and value of shares traded during the last week. 
    Said Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam, Executive Director of the stock market, in an interview with the (range), " The Iraq Stock Exchange, organized during the week ending on the ninth of February , the current five trading sessions in the formal market and (4) sessions in the second market where the number of listed companies in the market (97) joint - stock company, of which 70 companies listed in the formal market and 27 companies listed in the second market. " 
    He said Abdel - Salam "during last week traded through shares sessions of (52) in the formal market and (4) companies in the second market, although the number of listed companies in the market are (telecommunications 2, the industry 21, Agriculture 6, tourism 10, services 9, financial investment 6, Wire transfer 11, securing 6). 
    The Executive Director of the stock market, that the "number of shares traded last week amounted to 35 billion shares in exchange for 15 billion shares for the week , which was accepted, as the value of stocks traded last week ( 31) billion dinars , compared to 15 billion dinars for the week , which was accepted . "He Abdulsalam that" the number of transactions executed last week, it was (in 2513) deal in return (2522) deal of the week the previous year , and the market closed ISX index of 60 in the last session of the week b (711.80 points). " 
    he said the stock market director that" the market indicators that show the high number of shares traded last week, the rate of (124.74%) compared to the week , which was accepted, and that the total value of shares traded last week rose (107.61%) compared week , which was accepted, and also the market ISX 60 index rose by (0.89%) all closed for the week before when it closed at (705.51) points, though the market value of this week rose by (0.83%) from a week which was accepted by the (9.691) trillion dinars " .
